Stand Tefaf 2023

The Imperial Art gallery is proud of its participation in the prestigious TEFAF Maastricht ancient art fair during its 2023 edition. During this exhibition one of our major presentations consisted of an exceptional rediscovery: a composition for the Prix de Rome by Georges Rouget the first assistant of Jacques-Louis David. This neoclassical masterpiece entitled The Death of Demosthenes has since joined a famous American institution.
